This is not a standard running retreat.
It is a professionally curated endurance and adventure expedition, designed for international runners and outdoor enthusiasts seeking meaningful movement, authentic wilderness, and cultural connection.
Over nine days, you will traverse Uganda’s most iconic landscapes from the shores of Lake Victoria to the vast savannahs of Queen Elizabeth National Park and the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. This journey seamlessly blends supported trail running, wildlife safaris, guided primate encounters, and participation in one of Africa’s most remarkable marathon events.
All runs are fully supported, inclusive, and non-competitive. There is no prescribed pace. We run together, stop often, and prioritize safety, experience, and immersion over performance metrics. Jeep support, professional guides, and wildlife rangers accompany all activities where required.
This expedition is suitable for runners of all abilities with a reasonable base level of fitness. Experience running in warm conditions and on uneven terrain will enhance your enjoyment, but speed is never a requirement.
